Who Are
We?
The Ward Melville Heritage Youth Corps is made up of students, grades 6-12,
from the Three Village area and beyond.
What
Are We All About?
Our goal
is to continue the good works of philanthropists Ward and Dorothy Melville
who were dedicated to preserving local history and caring for the environment.
We create and implement all our own events and community service projects. You may have seen us in the media. News 12 Long Island, WABC-TV, Long Island News Tonight and Newsday have covered our events.
There are many benefits to being a WMHO Youth Corps member. It's a great way to get involved and have fun!
There
are opportunities for public speaking, leadership, decision making, receiving
recognition and scholarships. There's something for everyone!
We
invite you to attend one of our meetings. There's no obligation, no membership
fee, and we'll be happy to answer any of your questions.
Listen to what some of our members have to say...
